YFL Y type strainers with stainless steel screen are widely installed before the pressure reducing valves and relief valves to capture solid particles which larger than the holes of the screen and then the fluid will pass the screen. After sometime of usage, the screen of the Y type strainer needs to be cleaned for better screening. To clean the screen, first unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of Y type strainer to discharge the fluid, and then dismantle the blind flange to take out the screen for cleaning.
